Spinel Sun is one of Eriol's creations, and like Ruby Moon, he helps Eriol cause trouble for Sakura.  Just like Cerberus, Spinel Sun has two forms.  One smaller form in which he looks like a stuffed animal, and this big pretty form where he is able to use his full power.  (Don't you love his corkscrew tail?!)

Spinel Sun is a great big grouch. Grouchy, grouchy, grouchy! Just like Yue.  Sour grapes city. At least in this form, he is better able to carry off that haughty attitude of his.  But, the poor thing never seems to have any fun.  Man, he's so much like Yue, it's scary. ^_^
